At our faculty meeting we recognized Roxanne Blue Lain for being chosen Teacher of the Year by our campus. We celebrated with cake and punch. She was also presented with a Golden Apple by Patsy Holman who was last year’s recipient. She was the Queen of the Dugout! We also welcomed Mr. Johnson at this meeting.

moreParents are invited to join their children in their classrooms to participate in science and technology activities that can be extended at home. This event will take place on Tuesday, February 23rd from 1:30 - 2:45 pm in your child's kindergarten or first grade classroom.

moreThe February Parental Involvement newsletter is now available in English and Spanish. It features articles on "Quality Family Time, How to Run a Family Meeting, Building a Relationship with Your Teen," as well as information on listening, nutrition and exercise.
morePK1 hosted a Science and Technology Event for our Kinder and First Grade parents from 1:30 – 3pm today. 77 parents attended the event. They participated with their children in four different classroom activities that required observing, predicting, exploring, and analyzing data. Parents learned about websites that they can use at home to help their children with math, science, and reading skills.
morePK-1 total for Pasta for Pennies is $2,446.66. The classroom that raised the most money was Ms. Holman’s first grade class. They won the Olive Garden Luncheon. Students have learned to work as a team, develop team spirit, to take pride, to care for others, to focus on the needs of others, and to recognize that they can make a difference as an important part of their community.
moreThe staff and faculty at Castleberry Elementary needs your help ensuring the students' safety by abiding by the Visitor Procedures. When visiting the campus, even the cafeteria for lunch, between the hours of 8:00 am - 3:00 pm you MUST report to the front office to obtain a visitor sticker. Parents will not be allowed to have lunch with their child unless they have reported to the office first and have a visitor sticker on. There will not be a visitor sign-in sheet in the cafeteria.
